Economic freedom

Why economic freedom is our best choice

The relationship between prosperity and freedom.

What is freedom?

People used to think that freedom is "absence of any impediment" but the real meaning is "power to achieve your goals" so, it has limits, it is necessary to respect the life proyect of others.

In an economically free society, individuals are free to work, produce, consume, and invest in any way they please.

Economic freedom brings greater prosperity. The Index of Economic Freedom documents the positive relationship between economic freedom and a variety of positive social and economic goals. The ideals of economic freedom are strongly associated with healthier societies, cleaner environments, greater per capita wealth, human development, democracy, and poverty elimination.

As we see in the first graph we have found that countries with higher and improving economic freedom grow more rapidly and achieve higher levels of per-capita.  Also we can observed relationships may reflect the fact that some of the variables that influence economic freedom may also influence health factors like infant mortality.

In conclusion freedom is better than we think.
